poop patrol

At least once per month, you can find BostonDOG members roaming the streets and parks of Beacon Hill and Back Bay, wearing our bright orange t-shirts and a hand full of recycled grocery bags.  We'll be out there picking up the "orphan poop" that a few disrespectful dog owners leave behind. We do it because it's polite, considerate and just the right thing to do. What you the individual does or doesn't do is your business, but when people in general see the unsightly "lumps", they consider it to be a wide spread problem from ALL dog owners. And we know it isn't. We know that the grand majority of dog owners ARE responsible and DO clean up after their pets.

We typically meet at http://fourpreppypaws.com/ on Charles Street. We have some soda and pizza and chat a bit, throw on bright orange t-shirts and stroll the neighborhood. We have a lot of fun chatting with folks on the streets (often with their dogs) and we get a lot of positive feedback.

Please join us for our next Poop Patrol event on Tuesday, August 18th at 5:30pm; meet at Four Preppy Paws.
